The second coating must be applied after the first coat is fully dried. 

The liquid waterproofing membrane is applied to the concrete bridge. The cracks on the concrete surface are formed when the surface shrinks and expands because of the temperature change. The liquid waterproofing membrane absorbs the UV and protects the concrete surface from damage. It is also applied to the metal deck bridge. 

The membrane improves the durability of the bridge by preventing the seepage through joints. In addition to cracks, the waterproofing membrane prevents corrosion of joints, steel bar and also the inner surface. A maximum 1.3 mm crack can be sealed using a liquid membrane and also prevent 0.4 mm of expansion. When applied on the bridge it can be used after 6 hours.
